Stephen
McDowell in Billy Joel & Me
Stephen
McDowell is your average twenty something
performer. He has bills to pay … so he works
in retail to support himself between gigs. He
has people to network with … so he enjoys a
beverage or five. He has siblings that he
doesn’t get along with … so he shares
embarrassing stories about them in cabaret.
In
all he seems pretty beige. However, Stephen is
different. He is an inspiration! An
inspiration to a very special man … a Piano
Man!
Join
Stephen as he heads down memory lane sharing
the moments in his life that inspired Billy
Joel to write such songs as ‘Movin’
Out’, ‘Uptown Girl’ ‘Tell Her About
It’ and ‘Piano Man’. This is not simply
a Billy Joel Tribute show! It is so much
more!!!

Tina
Del Twiste
Tina is interested in the blues, the jazz, the music.
She has been performing globally on
stage and her screen for over 50 years.
Not bitter, but quite twisted.
She recently returned to the stage that
once graced her to a sell-out season during
the Melbourne Cabaret Festival.
The current talk about town having
performed at the Famous
Speigeltent and The
Arts Centre to name two, she is an
experience not to be missed. Join Tina as she
reminisces her life in this simply fabulous
show.

Peter
Dennis in NEXT! – The ups and downs of
Auditioning
Audition
time is here again; join Peter on his unique
journey through the world of Musical Theatre
and the most dreaded aspect of all – the
AUDITION. Share the lessons he’s picked up
along the way – what NOT to sing, what NOT
to wear, what NOT to say (In the hope that one
day he may just get it right!)
Share
the nerves, the disappointment, and the false
sense of security – all those wonderful
things that make an actors life pure hell.

ReWorks:
Altered Music Theatre
Boasting
songs from a diverse range of musicals
including Wicked,
West
Side Story,
Les
Miserables
and Rent,
this show is for a musical theatre lovers who
crave a little variation. Classic songs
are given a genre twist and are not always
instantly recognisable - whether it's turning
the well known ballad “Memory” from Cats
into a sassy jazz trio or Rent's
rocking “One Song Glory” into an operatic
masterpiece. If you like musicals, and in
particular the music from musicals, you should
find reWorks most interesting, musically.
Featuring
Ruth Bishop, Sally McKenzie, and Angela
Lumicisi, under the direction of Brian Dixon.
